This sweet shungite merkaba is hand-carved from one solid piece of black shungite, aka type 2 shungite.
Each one is slightly different due to shungite's natural mineral inclusions and veins, as you can see by the metallic gold areas in the photos.
Some have more of these inclusions than others.
Being hand-carved and not machined, you will appreciate all the little variations and imperfections!
A merkaba (sometimes spelled "merkabah") is an eight-pointed three-dimensional star in sacred geometry. The merkaba is said to be the "divine light vehicle" used by ascended masters to connect with the higher realms, something like a chariot. "Mer" means light, "Ka" means spirit, and "Ba" means body. With its intersecting triangles, it represents the connection between the human and the Divine.
